Cornelius ( The First Gentiles Believer)

At Caesarea there was a man name Cornelius, centurion in what was known as the Italian Regiment. He and all his family were devout and God-fearing, he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. The meaning of " God-fearing turned away from idolatry and saw something better in the word of God than they heard in the Jewish synagogues.They did not submit to Jewish circumcision or the ritual washings required of full Jewish proselytes, but they did believe in Yahweh and worshiped him.
